High energy superstition – Reflections on Technology, Media & Culture

Numogram - CCRU Wiki

Developed by the Cybernetic Culture Research Unit (CCRU) and influenced by figures like Nick Land, this concept draws on Gnostic and Hermetic traditions.

It’s a diagram composed of ten zones (0-9) and their connections, forming a “decimal labyrinth”.

Numbers are paired into “syzygies” that sum to nine (e.g., 1 and 8, 2 and 7).

The system explores concepts like [time-circuits] and acceleration, suggesting each number or “zone” is incomplete and yearns for its paired partner, with their conjunction opening a “gate into time”.
