Sins
Talking about sins is not allowed in Islam:
- Major sin: Discussing sins openly is a major sin in Islam and is considered disrespectful to Allah, the Messenger, and other believers.
- Spreads immorality: Exposing sins can encourage evil and tempt others to do the same.
- Shameful: Broadcasting sins can bring shame to Muslims.
- Conceal faults: It is considered righteous to conceal the faults of others.
- Intercede: If someone is caught committing an offense but it hasn’t been reported, it is considered proper to intercede for them so the news doesn’t reach the authorities.
- Don’t ask for details: If someone admits to a sin but doesn’t explain what it is, it is considered proper to instruct them to conceal it.
- Don’t ask about someone’s past: It is not considered proper to ask someone about details of their past or what sins they may have committed when they were ignorant about Islam.
