Axe of Ibrahim
“When Ibrahim said to his father and his people: What are these statues to which you are devoted?” — Qur’an 21:52
Purpose
This wiki centralizes detailed responses to objections raised against Islam, the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and Islamic civilization. Cleaning external polemics made by orientalists, liberals, feminists, atheists, apostates(Ex-muslims), Quranists, modernists, and “secular” intellectuals — not reconciling usuli ikhtilaf.
This is a central axis of the OpenTajdīd system. It is not a single project — it is a method, a mindset, a spiritual blade that cuts through false knowledge systems and orients the soul back to the Haqq.
The Axe of Ibrahim is not merely symbolic — it is a methodology of cleansing the cognitive idols inherited from colonization, liberalism, secular modernity, and inherited frameworks that are disconnected from Revelation.
It is:
- 🔍 A diagnostic tool to uncover the hidden “idols” in thought.
- 🔨 A method of deconstruction grounded in Tawḥīd.
- 🌱 A means of tajdīd (revival), not reform — meaning it doesn’t aim to “modernize Islam”, but to revive the Islamic soul by destroying the distortions imposed upon it.
Why Axe of Ibrahim is Necessary
Modern Muslims suffer from:
- Imported philosophies disguised as “universal values”
- Abandonment of maʿrifah and ontological grounding
- Cognitive dualism: religion vs science, faith vs reason
The Axe of Ibrahim reorients cognition so that:
- Tawḥīd becomes the lens — not the object
- Revelation becomes the starting point — not an add-on
- You rebuild your worldview from submission, not synthesis
You are not writing notes. You are destroying idols.
What Makes This Different?
- ❌ We do not “integrate” Islam with secular thought — we discard the idols.
- ✅ We do not reconcile modernity with Revelation — we measure modernity against Revelation.
- 🧭 We are not “adding an Islamic angle” — we are returning to the only true angle: Allah is the center.
Let the Axe of Ibrahim always be near your heart. Every note is a stroke. Every refutation, a chip at the idol. Every insight, a light from your Lord.
Tajdīd As a Spiritual System
Component | Tawḥīdic Reality |
---|---|
Tajdīd | Active renewal of perception, intention, and action through divine knowledge (ʿilm ) |
Personal | You — the nafs , the qalb , the locus of consciousness, intention, and ultimate submission |
System | Not a “framework” but a spiritual epistemology — a workflow of tazkiyah, maʿrifah, and furqān |
OpenTajdīd is not a content archive — it is a method of witnessing the truth.
The Axe of Ibrāhīm is not just for refutation, but for inner reorientation and epistemic cleansing.
Disciplinization Is a Colonial Epistemology
The crisis is not in lack of content — but in how we think.
Colonial modernity did not just reshape economies — it fractured the unity of knowledge by imposing synthetic disciplines divorced from Revelation. Its secular architecture severed meanings from Allah ﷻ, resulting in:
Secular Discipline | Tawḥīdic Re-rooting |
---|---|
Psychology | ʿIlm al-Nafs (soul, heart, fitrah) |
Economics | ʿIlm al-Māl (value, maqāṣid, barakah) |
Political Science | Siyāsah Sharʿiyyah (khilāfah, amanah) |
Architecture | ʿIlm al-ʿImārah (cosmic-spatial order) |
❌ We do not “Islamize” foreign categories.
✅ We begin from Revelation as the metaphysical root, and build outward via tawḥīdic first principles.
